A high traffic website requiring special attention.
Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation came to us in the fall of 2022. They had a beautiful website but it kept crashing during their most important fundraiser, Corvette for a Cure. This annual event for the treatment of childhood cancer receives national attention and generates a tremendous amount of website traffic. The short window for the fundraiser meant they could not afford for the website to go down. Every outage meant the loss of hundreds or even thousands of dollars and this meant less money to help the kids.
We worked with the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation to analyze their website traffic patterns and identify the performance bottlenecks behind the outages. We recommended a dedicated server with specifications tailored to their unique usage requirements. We moved all three of their websites to this new dedicated server just before the launch of their fall fundraiser. We closely monitored the new server and quickly made important adjustments as the traffic quickly ramped up. We are happy to say the fundraiser ran smoothly and the website remained fast and responsive.
Jeff Gordon founded his childhood cancer foundation in 1999. Over 17 years it has raised more than 15 million dollars for pediatric cancer research and treatment. We are excited to work with Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation and are proud they trust us to be their hosting partner.
