Custom solutions for clients with very specific requirements.
Our relationship with 3D Train Stuff began with a web hosting acquisition from a Charlotte-based technology company that wanted to focus on different areas of their growing business. 3D Train Stuff is a California company specializing in add-on software for Microsoft Train Simulator. We immediately hit it off with owner Brad Brown and his team because they are hardcore nerds just like us!
Brad had a problem, because while they are highly skilled programmers, their primary focus was train simulation software and some of the website programming was becoming out of date. The six interconnected 3D Train Stuff websites were intended primarily as a way for their customers to purchase and download new simulation software. It also managed the complex software licensing code. This programming was linked to older iterations of the simulation software and would be extremely difficult and time consuming to change.
We worked closely with Brad and his team to come up with ways his older technology could continue to function on newer servers in a way that was reliable and secure. 3D Train Stuff does the heavy lifting, but we remain committed to providing them with a dedicated server and consulting whenever they need another set of eyes.
